Why Ye Wenjie Is the Real Tragic Hero
Ye Wenjie is tragic because she turns personal trauma into a cosmic decision that can never be undone.
Her Trauma Is The Origin Wound
Ye’s choice grows from violence, betrayal, and a collapse of faith in ordinary human institutions.
Her Decision Is Understandable And Catastrophic
The story refuses to make Ye simply evil. It makes her wounded enough to believe outside judgment might be mercy.
Why She Defines The Whole Universe
Every later strategy is a response to the door Ye opened.
